This was purchased in Massachusetts. It was an inheritance from a wealthy family and eventually was sold to me. It is from the French art deco period. The velvet is embossed. Click on the images for a larger view.

I met Rami Kashou at the "California Market Center Textile Show in Los Angeles" and was delighted to discover that the lace he had purchased ended up on the Fall 2008 Project Runway catwalk.
